Pampers is currently in search of cute babies and actors who would play their mothers. The casting directors will cast the Pampers commercial in Los Angeles, California.  They are currently looking for an East Indian baby and a mother who would like to be a part of the upcoming Pampers commercial. The casting director has instructed that the baby and his mother will have to fly to Los Angeles and all the expenses will be paid by the company. Netflix’s House Of Cards Is Hiring Kid Actors


Netflix’s famous political drama series ‘House of Cards’ has announced a casting call for kids to work on a scene in the upcoming fifth season of the series. Marinella Hume Casting is looking for kids to work on a Halloween scene with full costumes. The scene is scheduled to be filmed on 15thJuly Friday in the city of Baltimore, Maryland.

Casting Call For: Young Frankenstein


Silhouette Stages INC. is looking to hold auditions for an upcoming musical production titled ‘Young Frankenstein’.

The casting department is looking for multitalented people to fill the roles of 15 to 17 individual characters. The music production requires actors, singers, and dancers to apply for auditions. The casting is non-paid.

Casting Details

Dr Frederick Frankenstein: Male, in his 30’s

The character is that of a fantastic brain surgeon/professor and son of a mad scientist. If you are applying for this role, you should be able to sing 1 octave below C (middle) and above G. People familiar with tap dancing should apply.

The Monster: Male

The role requires to be played by a huge man, the bigger the better. If you are auditioning for this role, you should be able to emit monster/howling and grunting sounds. Tap dancing will be an added advantage.

Igor: Male, should be between 20’s to 30’s.

Paid Roles in an Upcoming Short Film in DC

1209541_300x300An upcoming Indie film, “Girl’s Night Out” is looking for a few actors in DC to play several speaking characters. Auditions will start from Tuesday, 7th June, 2016 for paid roles. Call backs will be held on the following Thursday. The film will officially start shooting from 24th June and will continue till 26th June in DC area. Miss USA 2016 Deshauna Barber

The Miss America crown has come back to the District of Columbia thanks to Deshauna Barber. The 26 year old native of DC is an officer in the United States Army and is an IT analyst for the Department of Commerce.  Barber comes from a military family and would join the Army at the age of 17 and she is currently and she is the logistics commander for the 988th Quartermaster Detachment Unit in Fort Meade, MD.  In 2011 she would graduate from Virginia State University.

Congratulations to DC native Deshauna Barber! The DC area is proud to not only have such a beautiful representative, but also one is so dedicated to her country!

“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul”—Online Auditions for Lead Roles

20th Century Fox is coming up with a sequel of a movie that was a smashing box office hit almost four years ago. Yes, it’s the sequel to the most awaited movie for kids, titled as ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The long Haul’. This is the 4th installment of the movie that is finally taking place after 4 years. The production house has announced a talent search for kids aged between 10 to 12 years in middle school.

Kids worldwide can apply for the role through uploading online video auditions. The series of the movie is based on the much acclaimed writer Jeff Kinney’s book, ‘Wimpy Kid’. The production department is looking for new faces to be part of the sequel and continue the adventure of the Wimpy Kid. In specific, the casting directors are on the outlook for a kid who can deliver and act in a comedy flick for the role of Greg, and has a flair of comic dialogues. While, for the best pal of the lead actor, Rowley, the kid should be heft, and sweet looking.

The Walking Anticipation


The Walking Dead on AMC had quite the ending.  It was an ending that seemed to drive millions of fans crazy.  For those of you living under a rock the series ended with on of the biggest cliffhangers in television history.  And it will most likely start up with the death of a major character.  The problem most fans are having is waiting to find out which character it will be.  In the comics it is Glenn (Steven Yeun) that dies at the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).  But, the television series has strayed from the comic many time and the shows writers and producers have made it clear that this “could” be one of those times.  But, imagine the backlash if this is one of those times that the writers do stick to the comic book’s story line.   That would seem like an even bigger kick in the nuts for fans of the show.  For the to be held in suspense all summer long just to get the answer that they new was going to happen.
